My Description
With one multiplayer experience under my belt, I had more bandwidth to spare, and I started having fun by looking for juice where I could find it. The prime example in this project is the “fluid sim”. If you’re thinking, “There’s no way you can do fluid sim in a Quest 2 headset in a multiplayer environment with a rapid-prototyping-sprint-pace,” then you’re probably right! But I started tinkering and the end result was a somewhat convincing, very fun “fluid” that is–maybe–the most played-with feature we made. I’ve seen fountains, I’ve seen fireworks, and I’ve seen double-fisted wine-guzzling with an alarming frequency. And it’s all just a Unity Particle System (well, and code, of course!).
